The Challenge

BOOKING.COM AND SMILEY.COM SET OUT TO CREATE A CAMPAIGN THAT CAPTURED THE ESSENCE OF JOY AND ESCAPISM THROUGH A DREAM MALIBU BEACH STAY, FULLY DECKED OUT IN SMILEY’S ICONIC GEAR. THE CHALLENGE WAS TWOFOLD: NOT ONLY DID THE DESIGN NEED TO BLEND VIBRANT CREATIVITY WITH COASTAL LUXURY, BUT HYPER-REALISTIC IMAGES WERE REQUIRED TO BE FEATURED IN PUBLICATIONS BEFORE THE PHYSICAL SPACE WAS EVEN BUILT. TO ACHIEVE THIS, BOOKING.COM ENLISTED ME AND MY TEAM TO CREATE 3D RENDERS SO LIFELIKE THEY COULD BE PRESENTED AS REAL PHOTOGRAPHS, SETTING THE STAGE FOR A CAMPAIGN THAT SEAMLESSLY BLENDED BOLD DESIGN AND CUTTING-EDGE VISUALIZATION.

THE Solution

THESE HYPER-REALISTIC VISUALS WERE SO LIFELIKE THAT BOOKING.COM WAS ABLE TO FEATURE THEM IN MAJOR PUBLICATIONS AS IF THEY WERE REAL PHOTOGRAPHS, BUILDING EXCITEMENT AND BUZZ BEFORE THE PHYSICAL SPACE WAS EVEN CREATED. BY COMBINING IMMERSIVE DESIGN AND ADVANCED 3D RENDERING TECHNIQUES, WE DELIVERED A CAMPAIGN THAT FLAWLESSLY BRIDGED THE GAP BETWEEN CONCEPT AND REALITY.
